Lost and Found...

Lost and Found...

A man had two sons..The younger son asked for his portion from his father..He gathered his money and took his journey to a far country and wasted his money with riotous living..There was famine in that country and this son had money left.he was sent to a field to feed swine..He had to fill his belly with husk that swine ate..when he was alone to himself he used to say---how many servants my father has? here iam perishing with hunger..he told to himself ---father i have sinned iam no worthy to be called your son please make me one of your servants...HE realized and returned back to his beloved father..when his father saw his son returning from a long distance ran to him hugged and kissed him with love..the son said ..father i have sinned and in your eyes iam not at all worthy..but the father did not listen to all this..He called his servants and said---bring the best robes put it on him bring shoes for his feet..he said my son was dead and is alive again he was lost and is found ..
his eldest son was in the fields and when he heard his brother's return and seeing the merry he got angry ...he said to his father-- all thses years i have been toiling in the field neither you gave me best robes nor good food..but your son has lost all his money and has come back you are celebrating?father said to his son..my dear son--you are ever with me..all that i have is yours we should make merry for your brother was dead now he is alive he was lost and found ...
This parable means...the father is very happy to welcome his errant children home again.we should not feel unworthiness and guilt..HE is all love..we only need to forget the past to look ahead to HIM and repent completely..
TRUE REPENTENCE IS TO FOLLOW THE EXAMPLE OF THE PRODIGAL SON -- TO TURN AROUND AND RETURN HOME..
