If you had a bank that credited $86,400
to your account each morning,
carried over the balance from day to day,
allowed you to keep no cash

time-anim1.gif (5805 bytes) time-anim1.gif (5805 bytes)
in your account at the end of 24 hours,
canceled out whatever part
of that amount you failed to use,
what would you do?

Try to spend every cent, of course!
Well, everyone does have such a bank,
and its name is TIME.
Every morning it credits you
with 86,400 seconds.

The next morning at the same hour
it rules as lost whatever of this
you failed to invest to good purpose.
It carries over no balance
and allows no overdrafts.

If you don't use the day's deposit,
the loss is yours.
There is no going back,
no drawing against tomorrow.
How do you spend your daily surplus?

VEER SAWARKAR

VEER SAWARKAR;
A TRUE PATRIOT
A true patriot Swatantra Veer Savarkar (Vinayak Damodar Savarkar) was born on May 28th, 1883. He took his last breath on February 26, 1966. He was of the opinion that self determination of the nation is a mean and an end. This cause has been justly started for the upliftment of the Hindus. In those days there was nothing like Hindus and Muslims. Therefore he had friends from all classes of society. Congress first divided the Indian Community during the freedom agitation. Gandhiji came to India in his age of 45 and till then he was practicing outside India. He was life convict and was in cellular jail for more than 20 years. He was kept in very inhumane conditions. He had to undergo rigorous imprisonment and placed in solitary confinement. Other fellow convicts were treated differently from him. They were released as and when they or relatives were not suffering from ill health but he was treated with cruelty.
On July 8, 1910 when he was taken to India by a ship and the ship when breathed at Marseilles (France) he wriggled out and swam a great distance. He had already informed the friends and Madame Ca ma of his plans had asked them to reach at particular time but they failed to reach there and British Government recaptured him. Had they reached in time the history would have been different.
Literary he was a great literature, writer, author dramatist and novelist too. A publisher has published his literature in 8 big volumes that are worth preserving and worth to read and study. He was progressive leader and not a believer of superstitions or orthodox. What he said about cow is it is a useful animal and he did not believe the theory that cow is god. For Hindus god is not an idea of some superman but one who is worth respecting. Thus this single example will make it clear how he was different from others.
The name plate of Veer Samara was removed at the instance of Manishankar Ayer, the present Union Minister as he has averse for him. We Indians have habit of giving undue importance to few and to ignore and condemn others who were really martyrs. Perhaps this is because they were never vote catchers nor show case leaders nor caste based politicians.
On this Birth Anniversary we salute him and pay sincere respect and tributes to him. May he live long.

Eliminate Ego

We are used to pick faults in other people...

but this is not the way of spiritually inclined people...

any one keen on spiritual progress should try to find his own faults and try to give them up, one after another, rather than find faults in other people...

it is only superiority and of being above others that induces this habit in us, which is the very opposite of humility...

Forgive forget move on..

We are so Blessed

We Are So Blessed"

"We Are So Blessed"
xhgf3y3scm3vssldhz6h.gif
If you woke up this morning with more health than illness, you are more
blessed than the million who will not survive the week.

If you have never experienced the danger of battle, the loneliness of
imprisonment, the agony of torture or the pains of starvation, you are ahead
of 500 million people around the world.

If you can express your beliefs without fear of
harassment, arrest, torture,

or death, you are more blessed that almost three billion people in the
world.

If you have food in your refrigerator, clothes on your back, a roof over
your head and a place to sleep, you are richer than 75% of this world.

If you have money in the bank, in your wallet, and spare change in a dish
someplace, you are among the top 8% of the worlds wealthy.

If your parents are still married and alive, you are very, very rare.

If you hold up your head with a smile on your face and are truly thankful,
you are blessed because the
majority can, but most do not.

If you can hold someone's hand, hug them or even touch them on the shoulder,
you are blessed because you can offer God's healing touch.

If you can read this message, you are more blessed than over two billion
people in the world that cannot read anything at all.

Poor Self-Esteem vs. Healthy Self-Esteem

Morning Quotes

*~*
I love quotes, that is why I
quote others to better express myself *~*

Keep on beginning and failing.
Each time you
fail, start all over again,
and you will grow stronger
until you have accomplished
a purpose--not the one
you began with perhaps,
but one you'll be glad
to remember.
~Anne Sullivan~

Taking a Risk is often your 1st Step towards Success...

Thoughts to Ponder...

In each moment,

Allow that goodness to stream

Into your world.

With each day,

Lovingly bring to

Life the value that

Is YOURS to create!

~ Ralph Marston ~

Nobody grows old by merely

Living a number of years.

People grow old only by

Deserting their ideals . . .

You are as young as your faith,

As old as your doubts;

As young as your

Self-confidence,

As old as your fear;

As young as your hope,

As old as your despair.

~~ General of the Armies, Douglas MacArthur~~

You can increase your brain power

Three-to-five-fold simply by

Laughing and having fun
Before working on a problem.

~~ Doug Hall ~~

You are Valuable

You are valuable. Others may not treat you as such, but that in no way diminishes the fact that you are truly and undeniably valuable. You are valuable, and nothing that anyone else can do or say will ever take that value away. The value of your life is yours to hide from or to ignore if you choose, or to live with magnificent fulfillment.

Your thoughts and opinions are valuable. The more they are challenged, tested and refined, the more valuable they become. Your interests, passions and experiences are valuable. Even your disappointments and limitations have much positive value because of the learning and perspective they provide.

You are valuable, and it is your unique challenge in every moment to fulfill that value. Though it is much easier to pretend that you have no value, what is easiest is not what is best.

For ultimately, life is considerably more rich and more rewarding, more filled with joy and real meaning, when you live true to the value that is you. Know that you are indeed valuable, and let that value shine.

Ralph Marston
